Feathers of Invisibility: Poetry To Get Through The Walls

Wear you an owl in feathers? Feathers of invisibility to most? Sights and sounds come a rush to you… words and actions seldom apparent to most. Do you good deeds unseen? Hidden in the fabric of Robin’s hood… shot with the arrow of Pan’s sweet music you hear bliss when others hear the sounds of glasses broken puzzle. Your pen inks in the wrong people, places and things in the cross word, yet your words could be a story better. Forgo the puzzle grid surrounding and keep YOUR words. This could be the beginnings of a world all your own. Brake you walls of brick, line and check box! Wear you a smile of honesty in the face of Lord and Lady News Print, Town and Country, cold marble and flocks of Holly N’ The Wood? But of course I do, answers a voice from the hood– with the spirit of humble righteousness, all else is but a spark compared to the fires cast from the heart of self unmarked by false bar code and rank!

Today was full with meeting neighbors in my hood and talking with them about the history of this neighborhood— I also met new homeless people and did some art with them at the park. Breaking down these walls has always helped me through my day. Not only during this pandemic, but in life in genera. Each day holds new rides for the mind— some are roller coasters and others are country strolls through the tempos of what’s happening in all side of the road. Today I chose to listen to that voice in my head that says, slow down. Their is so much to learn from here. Lots of note taking has saved my day. Much laughter, the sharing of stories, food and love as well. Share your love. It’s worth it!
